The wishbone pin is a very important element of the suspension system in modern cars. It is the main part that attaches the steering knuckle to the wishbone. It twists and moves with the knuckle, and is a shock-absorbing and stabilizing element for these components. The pin is most often riveted to the wishbone. It should be emphasized that damage to the wishbone pin is extremely dangerous, because any failure of this element can cause a situation in which the wheel moves in its own direction. A symptom of failure is a characteristic knocking – such symptoms should be checked as soon as possible, because it can lead to a serious accident.
