The Powerflex Road Series Lower Engine Mount Insert – PFF85-1822 is designed to enhance the performance of your hot hatch by stiffening the voiding of the original equipment (OE) mount. Crafted from our Yellow 70A durometer material, this insert strikes the ideal balance between compliance and stiffness, ensuring control and precision without sacrificing comfort.
While you may notice a slight increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) at idle, this is a small trade-off for the improved responsiveness and drivetrain control. For those seeking comprehensive drivetrain stability, this lower engine mount insert pairs perfectly with the PFF85-1821 Upper Engine Mount Insert and the PFF85-1823 Gearbox Mount Insert.
Please note, for 3 Cylinder and Diesel engines, the PFF85-1821R and PFF85-1822R should be used respectively.
