KYG500500 Engine Under shield Bolt Upgrade

KYG500500 M10 x 25mm (13mm Socket Size) under shield retaining bolts are fitted to Discovery 3/4, Range Rover Sports and Freelander 2 they are a notoriously soft metal and suffer from corrosion/wear, they therefore prone to being easily rounded off, when performing an oil drain or other maintenance work, where the under shield needs to be removed.
The current retail price for these bolts is an astronomical 3.89 + vat each (on 13/02/25) we have a better and cheaper solution!
We at Blackhawk can recommend an upgraded 15mm head socket bolt which is also M10 but 30mm in length, these bolts provide a more sufficient fix, and are a more sustainable solution to the aforementioned issues with the more expensive bolts, these come with the threads pre-lock tighted and have a larger washer giving a better surface area fixing, they are also stronger and less likely to skin your knuckles.
We offer them in a bag of 10 or a trade pack of 100 for a fraction of the cost of the originals.
