The Forge Motorsport E-DV Atmospheric Dump Valve is a direct-fit performance upgrade for BMW models using the N13 and N55 turbo petrol engines. It replaces the standard electronic diverter valve and provides sharper boost control along with a clear, satisfying release sound when you lift off the throttle.

What the Dump Valve Does

In a turbocharged engine, the turbo compressor builds pressure in the intake system. When you release the accelerator, that pressure must be released to protect the turbo and maintain smooth running. The Forge E-DV controls this process electronically, venting excess air to the atmosphere for quicker response and the well-known “whoosh” sound.
