Swagier BMW E36 Front Control Arm (Lollipop Mount) Mounting Repair Kit
We offer a product designed for BMW E36 owners whose front control arm mount in the side member needs to be repaired after many years of use. Our kit makes it possible to both repair and reinforce this part of the body. When properly welded and rust-proofed, it will last for many decades to come.
Mounting template included.
The kit includes a template that is used before you start cutting the body. Place the template and drill some reference holes to ensure the correct position when welding the reinforcement. When the holes in the body match the holes in the reinforcement, you know it is exactly right.
Adjustable reinforcement.
If only a small area of the side member needs to be repaired, the reinforcement can be shortened (the side walls). Then you don’t need to open the so-called “triangles”.
Two ways to install the reinforcement:
- After opening the triangles – weld the reinforcement in its entirety (triangles are also available as a separate product in our range).
- Without opening the triangles – shorten the side walls of the reinforcement and weld directly.
