What the 2.0 TSI Diverter Valve does.

The OEM plastic, diaphragm-based valve used on Volkswagen Group 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 4, Gen 3, 3B, & EA113 engines is designed for quiet operation and low manufacturing cost – not long-term performance for people like us! Under increased boost, heat, and repeated load cycles, the factory diaphragm can deform, leak, or fail entirely – resulting in inconsistent boost delivery, reduced throttle response, and power that quietly slips away.

The RacingLine Performance Diverter Valve replaces the factory unit with a precision-engineered, billet aluminium valve featuring a robust piston-based design, engineered to deliver consistent boost control even under the most demanding conditions.

Whether you’re running a mild ECU calibration or pushing your 2.0 TSI hard on road or track, consistent boost control is critical. By eliminating boost leaks and improving valve response, the RacingLine Diverter Valve helps ensure your turbocharger delivers the performance it’s capable of — every time you press the throttle.

Unlike some DV designs, we’ve engineered the RacingLine Diverter Valve to operate at close to OEM noise-levels. We understand that the loud ‘whooosh’ is not for everyone!
